Høring – forskrift om tilleggskrav for luftfartsoperasjoner på Svalbard og andre polare områder
Luftfartstilsynet har sendt på høring utkast til forskrift om tilleggskrav for luftfartsoperasjoner på Svalbard og andre polare områder. Forskriften skal fastsette tilleggsregler for luftfartsoperasjoner som utføres på Svalbard.
Det er også spørsmål om reglene bør gjelde for sivil luftfart med norsk luftfartøy i andre polare områder utenfor Norge. Flyging til og fra Svalbard og transittflyginger foreslås ikke å bli omfattet av forskriften. Forskriften vil erstatte dagens om flyging med én-motors luftfartøy i fjell og øde områder i Norge og på Svalbard (BSL D 1-8).
Høringsfristen er 19. februar 2021.

The Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority has published a draft regulations on additional requirements for aviation operations in Svalbard and other polar areas. Flights to and from Svalbard and transit flights will not be covered by the regulations. The regulations will replace the current one with flying single-engine aircraft in mountains and deserted areas in Norway and on Svalbard (BSL D 1-8).
The draft regulation is now open for public consultation until 19 February 2021.
