Introduction of new exam scheme for ATPL/CPL/IR/EIR/CB-IR
CAA Norway introduces a new examination scheme for conducting the theoretical exam for ATPL, CPL, IR, EIR and CB-IR. From 16 March 2020, the theoretical examination will be conducted electronically at some of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's traffic stations. With the introduction of the new scheme, the current scheme of exams in Sandefjord, Bardufoss and Bodø will end.
The exam is conducted in English.
The result is available to the candidate immediately after the examination. The candidate will then receive an email with the examination result.
CAA Norway issues exam diplomas when all subjects for the current exam is passed.
The theoretical examination can be conducted at the following Norwegian Public Roads Administration's traffic stations:
- Arendal
- Finnsnes
- Notodden
- Tønsberg
The provisions for conducting the theoretical exam are given in Part-FCL.025.
The ATO shall register the candidates for all subjects for the relevant exam type by using form NF-1139 before the first exam. No separate registration must be sent for continuation exam /retake.
Private candidates send registration for all subjects to the relevant exam type by using form NF-1139 before the first exam. No separate registration must be sent for continuation exam /retake.
