Who can conduct the acclimatisation flight and what is the procedure?

You shall complete at least one acclimatisation flight with a qualified EASA flight instructor before carrying out the specific tasks of limited duration as PIC.

The acclimatisation flight shall contain elements related to the aircraft variant being used, Standardised European Rules of the Air (SERA) and any additional elements regarded necessary by the instructor.

You need:

  • An acclimatisation flight with an instructor
  • A signed document by the instructor
