Accepted Revised Draft Performance Plan for Norway

Norway has also implemented Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1627 of 3 November 2020 on exceptional measures for the third reference period (2020-2024) of the single European sky performance and charging scheme due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This regulation requires the adoption of a revised performance plan.

Norway submitted a revised draft national performance plan in October 2021. It is the task of the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA), supported by the Performance Review Body of the Single European Sky (PRB), to consider whether the plan meets the performance target criteria set by the regulation and by the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/891 setting revised Union-wide performance targets for the air traffic management network for the third reference period.

ESA has, by its decision 6 April, found that Norway’s performance plan is consistent with the Union-wide performance targets. The plan is as such accepted, and the Ministry of Transport is considered to have adopted the plan by instructing the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority to publish the plan.
